The story began after Jordan proposed to Jacquiline in the Warburton Red Wood Forest, one of their favourite spots within their favourite place, the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria. Jordan told Jacquiline that he originally wanted to propose in a hot air balloon. To both their suprise, Jacquline quickly followed up in a joking manor, stating that they should instead get married in a hot air balloon! And so the vision and dream starting taking place from here...

Jacqui & Jordan, we're sold. They decided they we're going to do it. They we're going to elope in a hot air balloon!! Something neither of them had ever done before, but the adventure sounded epic, and they knew they wanted an intimate day, just the two of them.

With the help of us, their photographers, and Celebrant Emily Hall, their day came together pretty flawlessly.

They woke at 1:30am on Thursday September 22nd 2022, to begin getting ready together. Jordan's cousins stayed the night before with them at their AirBnb, to do Jacqui's makeup in the wee hours of the morning. Before hitting the road at 3:30am. They swung by our airbnb, 20 minutes away to drop off their pup Yeezy, who they couldn't picture their day without! Linden watched Yeezy, whilst Vanessa jumped in the car with Jacquiline and Jordan and headed to Chateau Yerning, where we would meet the Hot Air Balloon Team, and Celebrant Emily Hall at 5am.

The Team at Go Wild Ballooning, briefed us on the experience, and then we all jumped in the back of the troop carrier, with the balloon on a trailer behind, and headed for the take off spot. We met with 2 other groups of balloon-go'ers, and the teams all began setting up. After a very quick inflation, and firing up the balloon, we we're in the basket and up in the air!

We flew for approx 1 hour, during that time, Jacquline and Jordan married at 660 metre's in the air flying over Coldstream, Victoria, in the Yarra Valley. It was an emotional and sentimental ceremony, with just the two of them, Emily, Vanessa and the Pilot Harry as witness'. Vanessa and Harry signed as their witness' when we reached the ground. To say it was the most epic, heartfelt, adventurous, intimate ceremony to ever exist - might be a bit bias but also very true!

Following the balloon, we met up with Linden and their pup Yeezy for a quick breakfast and coffee to fill our bellies at a local cafe in Healesville. We then headed to Wirrawilla Rainforest Walk, to immerse ourselves in their favourite scenery, the rainforest, and enjoy some time in nature. We took photos of the 3 of them (Yeezy included) during their walk, and took in all the scenes. They even stopped along the track, and read hand written letters to one another, for a little special sentimental moment!

From here we headed to their lunch booking at Rochford Wines for a set menu meal, where we finished up the day. Emily even surprised the couple with Yeezy's very own doggy witness certificate to sign with his paw!

It was the most intimate, magical, adventurous, spontaneous, and totally unique to them, elopement experience! Jacquiline even made her own bouquet! Anyway, we will probably be obsessing about for the rest of our lives. Needless to say, you need to see these images! Check out the visual story of their day below.

“Thank you so much for being apart of our day and being such a pleasure to share our experience with. You made us both feel so comfortable and important, while still capturing all the things we couldn’t have even thought of capturing!

Our day was perfect because of you. Thank you!"
