how to
elope in NSW

Getting legally married in Australia is simple, but there are a few things to note: You must submit a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) at least one month before your elopement date. Both parties must be over 18 and provide valid ID. You’ll need two witnesses (over 18) present at the ceremony. If it’s just the two of you, as your photographers we can witness for you! And last, but most importantly our ceremony must be conducted by a registered celebrant, who will also assist you with all the legal paperwork and requirements noted above!

Want a symbolic ceremony instead? Many couples choose to do the legal paperwork separately and enjoy a completely personalised elopement day!
